I am honored to have been asked to join the Yale Schola Cantorum on their upcoming concert in Woolsey Hall. Schola will be collaborating with the Yale Camerata and the Yale Glee Club under the direction of David Hill. All groups will be presenting English Choral Works, and Schola will be singing pieces by Parry and Elgar. The concert is Sunday, March 1 at 8pm in Woolsey Hall, free of cost. Hope to see you there!
Concert: Sin, Death, Faith, Joy
I’m excited to sing this weekend for my colleague’s conducting recital. Nate Widelitz will be conducting works by Bach, Part, Rheinberger, Schutz, and Schein, and I will be joining in the singing of the Pizzetti Requiem. It has been wonderful learning this masterwork; the concert is sure to be fantastic. Join us in Marquand Chapel Sunday at 5pm.
Concert: Wesleyan University Choir
This evening I have the pleasure of serving as a guest conductor in performance with the Wesleyan University Concert Choir. The ensemble will be singing a full concert under the direction of Nadya Potemkina at 7pm in the Memorial Chapel on campus. As a part of this concert, I will be conducting the women and a small instrumental ensemble in Renee Clausen’s Psalm 100. I have been rehearsing this piece with the choir each week for 30 minutes. It has been an honor working with them, and I’m looking forward to hearing the rest of their hard work come to fruition this evening! The concert is free and open to all.
