Excited this coming Saturday to sing with Voce in our third concert of the season: Immortal Bach. This is a concert filled with great rep, all inspired in one way or another by J.S. Bach. You’ll hear some Nystedt, Mendelssohn, Gjello, and of course, Bach himself, among other pieces. I’m especially looking forward to this concert because a couple of my high school students will be joining Voce in singing “Schicksalslied,” by Brahms. I’m so proud at how quickly and well they have learned 12 minutes of German (not to mention all of the musical challenges!). The concert is, as always, at Immanuel Congregational Church in Hartford, starting at 7:30pm. Tickets are $20, available at the door. I’d love to see you there!
